About Malka Tsentsiper
I am an Israeli painter and sculptor. Have immigrated to Israel in 1966 from Vilnius, Lithuania (former USSR).
I utilize different techniques, styles, and themes, all of which have their distinctive features: strong and sometimes contrasting colors and joy of life. The naïve style is one of my favorites. I have received the top award at the Moscow International Art Festival 2009 for a series of paintings on Jewish Life (for unique national originality). Following this success, my solo exhibitions were held at the National Museum in Minsk, at Chagall House-Museum in Vitebsk (both Belarus), and at various exhibition sites in Riga (Latvia), Kiev (Ukraine), Vilnius (Lithuania), Moscow and St.-Petersburg (Russian Federation).
I have also participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Israel, various European countries and the United States of America. My paintings are part of collections at museums in Riga, Minsk, New Jersey, Quebec and private collections around the world.
I am a member of the Association of Painters and Sculptors in Israel. Currently, I live and work in Modiin, Israel.
